Brief: A singular image to represent an entire film packed with storytelling, music, acting, cinemtography, and more always intrigued me. As a design aspect it's an interesting challenge, and a nice stanadard format to create some stunning work. As a marketing tool, it can turn ugly and mundane. After decades of creating these ads, the formula for them is starting to wear thin. This project delved into showing those stereotypes and mocking them, in hopes of inspiring some more intriguing results.

What began as research into my thesis project, turned into a workable interface. With The Movie Poster Toolbox now anyone has the tools to create their own film poster. Just drag and drop from the standard cliches to make your own! Quality of design not guaranteed.
